My Beat: The people of the community and the awesome things they like to do. I love finding the few hidden gems of the city and sharing them with others.
My Job: I work with a group to help market the Lake Voice brand--which is who we are and what we do. Lake Voice strives to involve the community by being liaisons and getting people to read our awesome publication. I am also involved the various aspects of sharing Lave Voice stories through social media sites.
My Story: I am a senior at UMD with a communication major and journalism minor and a member of Phi Sigma Sigma international sorority. I started writing newsletters during my freshman year for my sorority and it made me fall in love with writing about anything and everything. That interest grew into a passion of mine and I don’t plan on ever stopping.
When I’m not obsessing over school, I enjoy spending time with my roommates, running, shopping, sometimes running while shopping (Black Friday), and visiting my family and my cats.
