10 The UMD women’s club hockey team played 10 periods of hockey in two days, winning back-to-back double overtime games to become ACHA Division II National Champions. They beat Rainy River Community College 2-1 Sunday to claim the title.


8 Senior first baseman Alex Wojciechowski has had eight multi-hit games in 12 total games so far this season. Wojciechowski has also hit eight home runs so far, four more than anyone else in the NSIC.


7 The softball team finished their spring break road trip in Florida with seven consecutive wins. They were 9-1 overall on the trip, elevating their record to 11-6. Their winning streak was highlighted by a win over No. 15 Caldwell University.


6 The men’s hockey team is riding a six-game winning streak into the second round of the NCHC playoffs. UMD’s last four wins came at the hands of Miami with the Bulldogs outscoring the opposition 21 to 8 over that span.


2 The women’s track and field’s distance medley relay team, consisting of Emi Trost, Breanna Colbenson, Michaela Hesse and Hannah Olson, posted UMD’s highest finish in program history at the Division II Track and Field Indoor Championships this past weekend. Their second place finish with a time of 11:35.87 set a program record.


1 The men’s hockey team is headed to its first ever NCHC Frozen Faceoff after sweeping Miami in the opening round of the playoffs.
