This Thursday, UMD will be hosting its annual Grad Fair from 10 a.m to 5 p.m in the Kirby Ballro

om, where students can purchase caps, gowns and hoods at discounted rates. Information about financial aid exit interviews, resume evaluations and job search assistance are just a few other things they will have access to.

“It’s good for people who don’t really know what’s going on – a good check-up point for graduation,” senior Chelsea Egwim said, who plans on attending the event.

The Grad fair isn’t just for undergraduates.

“I’m mostly going because I don’t know what I need and it’s easier to just ask someone instead of searching online,” graduate student Brooke Vetter said.

Regardless of your stage in the graduation process the Grad Fair is a good place to start (or finish) your graduation shopping and get yourself on track before the semester is over.
