Another year, another rabble of robots

From March 5-8, dozens of high school teams met at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center for the fourth year it hosted the FIRST Regional Robotics Competition. FIRST, which stands for "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology", began in 1989 and since then has become anticipated to grow to nearly 3,000 teams across the nation in 2014.

I went on the last day to catch some of the matches and talk to some of the people there.
