What is Repost?
Want to share one of Lake Voice News' articles on your own website? Repost is a news aggregation tool that allows readers to share content from another website while still giving credit to the original author. This process benefits both the reader and the publication; the reader can add a wide variety of content to their own website and the publication can gain new audiences with every reposted article. Another perk: it’s simple and free. Following are step-by-step instructions on how to do it.
Step by Step on how to use Repost on Lake Voice
1. Find an article you would like to repost. For this example, I will be using the article “Life of the homeless: one man and his dog” by Daniel Badhwa from Lake Voice News.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the article, locating the orange and white repost button.
3. Click on the Repost button. You will be taken to the page the will enable you to repost the article on your own site.
4. Simply click the large orange button that says “Copy Embed Code”
5. Copy the embed code, then paste it on your site in the form of a new post. Hit the publish button and you have successfully shared the story.
