Nerd Nite welcomes Duluth's geekiest residents

Last week, The Underground at the Depot in downtown Duluth hosted the 25th Nerd Nite, a collection geeky presentations geared towards Duluth's passionate science and pop culture devotees. Once a month, people gather to watch three diverse presentations about anything ranging from the implications of free-to-play video games, to the exchange of science formulas.  Mary Hall, one of the facilitators of Nerd Nite, says the event is great for students looking to learn more about the wide variety of subjects, as well as meet new friends who share their passions. $5 will get you in the door, and the next Nerd Nite will be around Halloween.
