STRANGE NATURE benefit concert coming to Clyde Iron Works

nullClyde Iron Works in West Duluth will host a concert to raise money for the upcoming film, STRANGE NATURE, on Friday, Oct. 4, at 8 p.m.

Jim Ojala, a Duluth native with a background in special effects ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "John Dies at the End"), hopes to shoot the "eco-thriller" film in Duluth using local talent. STRANGE NATURE centers around the unsolved frog deformity outbreaks in the U.S., and a fictional account of what it could lead to.

However, if enough money is not raised, STRANGE NATURE may not be shot in Duluth.

The fundraising concert starts at 8 p.m, and features music from Cars & Trucks, Wolf Blood, Phillip of Nazareth, Bratwurst,  and the Surfactants. The show will also feature stand up comedy from the Out Loud Comedians. A Kickstarter campaign is also being held for those interested in donating.

You can find more information about STRANGE NATURE at strangenaturemovie.com.

Driftwood is a part of Lake Voice dedicated to community members and events. We want to provide the Duluth community with an outlet for their stories, photos, news releases, and etc. You can find information about submissions here
