It's fitting that the first real snowfall in Duluth coincides with this week's theme at LakeVoice. Winter, and the snow and ice that goes along with it, is something that Duluthians are very familiar with. In LakeVoice: Ice, the history of the Congdon Park Ice Rinks is found, a Duluth East Senior competes in the American Birkebeiner and the famous 21st Avenue Sculpture faces a lack of snow.
